Cher Turns Back Time at NYC Gay Pride Pier Dance
Cher, looking a fraction of her 67 years, was strong enough -- if not long enough -- at the Gay Pride Pier Dance tonight in Manhattan, dazzling her adoring fans with "Strong Enough" (complete with wig), "Believe" and her new single, "Woman's World." A full set is about the only way the boys could have been happier -- although I'm pretty confident another farewell tour can't be far behind!
(I hear that Cher's look was by Ashton Hirota of the label Ashton Michael.)
Happy Gay Pride!
Hope you're having a great pride season wherever you are!

Locker Room Peep Show
Never understood why reporters were allowed to interview athletes while they're showering and getting dressed, but I'm not going to argue with either of these: Everyone's talking about Detroit Tigers slugger Don Kelly's naked TV moment yesterday (below). But it pales in comparison to the penis puppet show put on by a teammate of rugby player Steve Menzies of Manly Beach seen HERE!
See Don(g) Kelly in all his glory HERE. He's definitely a "utility" player!
Back in Business, Baby!

WSJ: Don't Let Your Babies Grow Up to Be Tennis Pros
The pressure, the competition, the workload, the sorry history of parent-coaches. Today's stars to kids: Don't go pro
Fun ARTICLE in the Wall Street Journal about my favorite sport, featuring thoughts from Tracy Austin, Kim Clijsters, Lindsay Davenport, Roger Federer -- and a lead featuring the son of Christophe Roger-Vasselin! The venerable newspaper misspelled Steffi's last name -- only the greatest player of all time. #Oops
Brandon Holt, Tracy Austin's middle son
Next They'll Be Dragging the Rubber Duckie Into This
Bert and Ernie are just friends -- why else would they have a unibrow and a horrible spray tan between 'em? -- but that hasn't stopped the AFA of accusing the New Yorker of "promoting child abuse" with this gay-friendly cover of the lovable Muppet roommates. Read HERE.

Sexpot Grigor Dimitrov followed girlfriend Maria Sharapova out of Wimbledon in the second round, losing to Grega Zemlja of Slovenia, 11-9 in the fifth, after saving five match points.
Butt Seriously: Mark Sanchez Gets Dirty
The video of Mark Sanchez dancing with his pants down won't be back up for long, so enjoy!
Although according to his teammates, this is normal behavior for the QB:
TRAILER: 'The Battle of the Sexes'
Absolutely cannot wait to see "The Battle of the Sexes," the just-released acclaimed documentary about the infamous 1973 match between Billie Jean King and Bobby Riggs.Although I'm well-aware of the match and its significance, it was a little before my time -- I started watching tennis avidly when Tracy Austin made a splash at the 1977 U.S. Open -- so I can't wait to see it all on the big screen! Readers might remember I ball-boyed for Billie Jean in the early '80s and got to have a great chat with her at the airport a couple years ago. BTW: Andy Murray and Serena Williams are in the news this week for their proposed "battle of the sexes" (sort of), but for the uninitiated, you might find it interesting to know that Serena -- and Venus -- both got creamed by a man ranked 203 who drank and smoked before going on court. (It's about the disparity of strength.)
John Travolta and Lily Tomlin Take It 'Moment by Moment'
Perhaps the greatest thing uploaded on YouTube to date: You can cut the tension between John Travolta and Lily Tomlin in the naked hot tub from "Moment by Moment" with a butter knife. Must be where Richard Gere and Jodie Foster got their inspiration for "Somersby."

Vatican Rentboy and Satanism Claims Revealed by Paedophile Priest
Jesus Christ.
IBT writes:
Italian investigators have opened an inquiry into claims by a convicted pedophile priest that an underage prostitution ring has been operating inside the Holy Roman Church with clergymen hiring rentboys for sex inside churches. Don Patrizio Poggi, 46, told Italian authorities that a former Carabinieri pimped boys for nine clergymen. Poggi, who served a five-year sentence for abusing teenage boys while he was a parish priest at the San Filippo Neri church in Rome, said he made the allegations to "protect the Holy Church and the Christian community." The boys were chosen because they were starving and desperate, he claimed, according to Il Messaggero newspaper.

NYT: Landmarks in History of Gay Rights, Found and Lost
Nicely done by David Dunlap of the New York Times:
Social landmarks don’t make their significance readily apparent, but a Gay Pride Month guide is a reminder that buildings can breathe with life to those who know something about them.Read HERE.
Weiner Shoots to Top
Surprised to see Anthony Weiner has suddenly pulled even with Christine Quinn, although his name, Twitter cock shots and these pants prove he's willing to do anything to capture the gay vote.

Mark Sanchez: What an Ass!
UPDATE: The video is BACK.
Mark Sanchez isn't much of a quarterback. But he's quickly devolving into a tabloid darling -- first by f**king an underage girl and now turning up naked in a party video that was just removed from YouTube. Here's hoping the Jets release him into the wild soon!
National HIV Testing Day
Because there's no better way to start your Gay Pride Weekend than finding out you have AIDS!
From a release:
Take part in #TestMe and Get tested June 27-29 with GMHC on National HIV Testing Day!
GMHC is partnering with Walgreens and Greater than AIDS for the third year in a row to provide free HIV testing on June 27-29th for National HIV Testing Day. Additional visibility is happening around the country as part of the #TestMe campaign, led by bloggers and activists Todd Heywood, Teddy Partridge of policybear.com and Lisa Derrick.
There are about 175 Walgreens stores in 54 cities across 22 states participating in the testing, which will go from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. on June 27th and 28th, and from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on June 29th. More than a hundred local AIDS advocacy organizations and healthcare providers are coordinating the testing, which will mostly take place in major metropolitan areas. A complete list of participating locations can be found HERE.
For those who live in New York City, here is the list of New York testing times and locations, click HERE.
