Magazine Rack
Here's the latest batch of magazines that I no longer subscribe to.
First up, Ryan Reynolds ...
and Tom Hardy ...
join Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau as covermen for GQ's Most Stylish Men Alive for 2016.
Mark Wahlberg shows Men's Fitness the way to bigger biceps and triceps
Topher Grace covers FSHN
and finally, Men's Health gets hard-core.

GQ Declares Tom Brady the 'Greatest Quarterback of All Time'
Don't know enough about football to know if Mr. Bündchen is the greatest quarterback of all time, but he's certainly one of the best-looking, even if his politics/personality/persona leave much else to be desired. Read HERE.

Rob Lowe Is GQ's 'How To' Look Younger Man
Like fellow GQ cover man Ryan Reynolds, Rob Lowe is older but still HOT. But with a face like that, you've got a 10-mile lead on everyone else in the race.

Out of Print
Read HERE.
I canceled my subscriptions to Details and GQ this week, after subscribing since the 1980s. As someone who works in print media, it pains me to admit this, but hear me out. Both mags allowed me to access the iPad edition with my print subscription, so the hard copies just started to pile up around my (tiny) apartment, almost always unopened. (And to be honest, there's a backlog of issues I haven't downloaded either, but at least that's not taking up space.) Where I fault Conde Nast here, though, is that the customer service website offered no option to convert my print deal to an iPad-only subscription. In fact, it seemed Conde Nast was so preoccupied with trying to make it impossible to cancel at all that the option never occurred to them. Instead, once I jumped through three or four hurdles, the only option it gave me was to MAIL ME REFUNDS for my already paid subscriptions, something I didn't even want. (There's really no way to cancel it AFTER it runs out????) Perhaps when the checks clear I will see about buying a subscription via iTunes. I'm guessing Conde loses 50 percent of the revenue by doing it this way, but that's what they get for refusing to give the customer what he wants.

Chris Pratt Covers GQ
Chris Pratt's safari look has me on the ready to shoot, although his yammering about his (on-purpose) fat days is bordering on Minnie Driver territory. From HERE.

GQ's Men of the Year Will Get You Going
GQ's Men of the Year issue is one of the best in years, with Chris Pratt, Michael Sam and Ansel Elgort looking ridiculously handsome out front, plus Steve Carell, Dave Chappelle and Shailene Woodley. Who was your man of the year?

GQ's Positioned to Make You Laugh
Some great stuff in the new issue of GQ, but nothing tops their Yelp "reviews" sexual positions. Although I'd have killed to read the gay version, I think anyone can appreciate how sublime this is. Pick up the new three-covered issue to read the rest.
