Song of the Day: 'All Alone on Christmas' by Darlene Love

My long-running Song of the Day feature may be in semiretirement. But for the next few days I'd like to share some of my favorite Christmas songs you may not know.

We start today with one by Darlene Love, who is synonymous with the holiday season thanks to "Christmas (Baby, Please Come Home)" from the legendary 1963 LP "A Christmas Gift for You from Phil Spector."

"All Alone on Christmas" was written and arranged by Steve Van Zandt and recorded with members of both The E Street Band and The Miami Horns in 1992 for the soundtrack of "Home Alone 2: Lost in New York."

Have a listen and tell me this too shouldn't be a Christmas classic! xo

P.S.

Darlene's got Jewish people covered too HERE!
