It’s been an incredible fortnight abroad, and today we returned to Venice for one more day/night -- a trip to Doge’s Palace and a romantic/mandatory gondola ride were on the agenda -- before flying home to New York on Friday. I’ve almost completely avoided reading the news these past three weeks ... I’m guessing I didn’t miss anything.
