Kavanaugh Accuser: 'I Thought He Might Inadvertently Kill Me'

I’m open to the argument that youthful “indiscretions” should be taken with a grain of salt. But what Supreme Court nominee Brent Kavanaugh is accused of having done as a 17-year-old is nothing close to shoplifting a candy bar or spray-painting a wall. The details of this premeditated attack gave me -- a 51-year-old man -- chills, so I can easily see how damaging this would be to the alleged victim, who says she feared for her life. Surely the GOP could ram through -- to a lifetime appointment on the highest court in the land -- some other (ideologically horrific) judge out there who hasn’t been accused of something so heinous. Honest to God.

As for this quote from former RNC chairman Ed Rollins, I've known and been friends with hundreds of straight men over the years and I don't know of one of them who was ever accused of holding down a girl and trying to rape her while a friend stood lookout. How did we end up here, nostalgic for the days of pubic hairs on Coke cans?

what's a little attempted rape among republicans? it was only a little locker room behavior, nothing to see here.
