RIP to a man who helped define the pop culture of my childhood ("The Odd Couple," "Happy Days," "Laverne & Shirley," "Mork & Mindy," "Angie"), young adulthood ("The Flamingo Kid," "Beaches," "Pretty Woman") and continued to work -- however schmaltzy -- until the day he died. (His cameos in "Lost in America" and "Soapdish" were sublime!) He will be missed.
