Via Newsday: And now, "Cher the Musical?" The pop diva tweeted Sunday that she had spent the previous three days working on an autobiographical musical with Rick Elice, who co-wrote (with Marshall Brickman) the books for "Jersey Boys" and "The Addams Family," Newsday's Linda Winer reports. According to the British website WhatsOnStage, Cher, 69, said in a 2012 tweet that she was thinking about a show "about my life with my music." There reportedly will be three versions of Cher -- the time before and during her life with Sonny Bono, the time after she left the "Believe" tour and the present -- and they will interact with one another.
While this doesn't sound like a far-fetched idea -- the way Neil Sedaka begging for one about his life

Yours is one of the few allusions to Neil Sedaka I've seen. I've always wondered if that was because he was never cute, that nobody cared? But I've known he was gay for 20 years. And seemed to have a thing for blonde twinks, at least when I saw him out in Vegas, years ago.
You know I'm Mr. Broadway and even I'm not very excited about this. *YAWN* If I can't "Get On Your Feet" for Gloria, not sure I'll manage to "Turn Back Time" for Cher. And we all now what a hit that "Taboo" was about Boy George…
I actually LOVED "Taboo" - I thought it was very well done. I agree, Gloria Estefan - whatever. BUT ..... Cher is Cher and with a good writer it could be incredibe.
