Dance This Mess Around the B-52's!

I'd actually be willing to don a Halloween costume for the first time in more than a decade if the B-52's were going to judge me!

World’s Greatest Party Band THE B-52'S is throwing the World’s Greatest Halloween Party on Friday, October 29 night at the Fox Theatre in Atlanta! The B-52's are looking for four Foxy dancers to join them onstage at the Fox this Friday night at the B-52's Halloween Scream! Join Kate, Fred & Cindy for the ultimate dance & costume contest this Thursday night October 29th at Burkhart's (1492 Piedmont Avenue, Atlanta). Contestants will shimmy and shake their honey buns in hopes of earning a spot to dance live onstage with The B-52's at their concert at the Fox Theatre the following night! Contestants can sign up in advance by leaving their email at dancing@hot-shot.com, and the contest kicks off at 10 PM October 29. There is no cover charge at Burkhart's and no charge to enter the contest.

"We're looking for the sassiest dance moves and the trashiest costumes in town," says B-52's singer Fred Schneider. "Look out, Atlanta! We're ready to find the dancers who can help us turn the Fox Theatre into a Wild Thing!"

Kate Pierson, Fred Schneider, and Cindy Wilson formed the World's Greatest Party Band while they were students at the University of Georgia in Athens, along with Keith Strickland and Ricky Wilson. The B-52's have released seven studio albums, spawning hit singles and dance floor classics like "Love Shack," "Rock Lobster," "Roam," "Planet Claire" and "Private Idaho."
