Dallas BBQ Chair Hurler in Custody

About time. There are two sides of this story. But we can't get to the bottom of this until this guy explains himself to law enforcement, not through a loudmouth blogger.

CBS reports:
The man wanted by police in connection with an assault in a Chelsea Dallas BBQ restaurant has turned himself in, sources told CBS2. Banya El-Amin surrendered with his attorney Tuesday, sources told CBS2. The NYPD says El-Amin faces assault and attempted assault charges. Investigators say El-Amin is the man seen in cellphone video slamming a chair over the head of a Brooklyn man at the Chelsea BBQ at 261 Eighth Ave., at 23rd Street, in Chelsea back in May. The incident happened around 11 p.m. Tuesday, May 5, during what was reported to be a Cinco de Mayo celebration.

He hit an obviously brutalized and defeated couple with a chair then fled, using a disreputable hack to hiss lies and spread misinformation while on the lam. Guilt is no longer a matter of debate.

There are 2 sides, and this guy has had plenty of time to invent his.
