Michael and I were having coffee just a stone's throw away from the mob scene that was Katie Holmes taking Suri to the pet store by my apartment in Chelsea on Saturday night. As awful as it may look -- everyone in the joint was saying how bad they felt for Katie being "hounded" everywhere she goes -- I have zero sympathy for her. If Mom didn't want this, she could move to Larchmont or at least wait until some of the hoopla dies down. I was wrong about one thing, however. Suri didn't even get the puppy. So Katie's not only a bad mom for subjecting her daughter to the paparazzi, she also teases the poor girl with pets she then wno't let her have. Someone needs to be re-audited stat!
