'Queer From Zero to One Hundred: Serious Fun' Opens June 21 in NYC

With everyone gearing up for June's gay pride activities, I'm particularly excited for an upcoming exhibit featuring two of my most talented pals -- artist Scooter LaForge and photographer Johnny Rozsa -- over at the TNC Gallery in the East Village. "Queer From Zero to One Hundred: Serious Fun," curated by Peter J. Ketchum, features more than 200 works by nine queer (more or less) artists, including my pals, as well as Pete Hocking, Julie Smith, Barnaby Whitfield, Carmine Santaniello and Tracy Phillips, plus a ceiling installation by Aaron Miller (Dorothy's dress ... sort of) and photographs by Rick Longo Burrows. (Watch a preview of all the artists' works above.)

The gallery is at 155 First Ave. (between 9th and 10th streets). An opening reception will be held June 21, from 6 to 9 p.m. -- Miss Guy will be DJing! -- and the exhibit runs through Aug. 9. More information HERE.

Scooter will also be signing copies of his new book -- the first published survey of his work -- which includes his paintings, his celebrity collaborations and some of his eclectic fashions. Books are $60, or $100 with hand-painted T-shirt.
