Music Box: Everything but the Girl

Here's a rare video -- my first time seeing it, despite having the song on the "Night and Day" 12-inch single since 1982 -- from the very early days of Everything but the Girl, that's included on the "Pillows & Prayers" box set from indie UK label Cherry Red Records. The collection includes three CDs and one DVD and features 53 tracks -- by such artists as Eyeless In Gaza, the Monochrome Set, Marine Girls, Ben Watt, Tracey Thorn and Felt -- including rarities previously unavailable on CD. The DVD contains 10 videos. "On My Mind" isn't one of EBTG's better songs, but its quirkiness and rawness foreshadows the enormous catalog of brilliant songs to come.
