Ricky Martin and (Not) 'Me'

Nice time at the signing for Ricky Martin's new memoir, "Me," yesterday at Borders. Although I didn't quite get a photo with Mr. Menudo -- my camera and my host weren't quite communicating with each other -- it was a treat to see Ricky work the room -- especially with his fans with special needs.

Here's hoping Ricky's announcement will make it easier for the other Latinos to come out, where the "machismo" culture requires men to have sex with men on the down low.

I bought it, but I doubt I'll end up reading the book. I'm mostly a fan of the way he looks!

Close, but no cigar ...

UPDATE: Was able to get some screen grabs from a video of the event posted HERE.

You go, girl. I was astounded at the Oprah interview. Made this old queen proud to be who I am. Seriously.

Really enjoyed the Oprah interview. He seems to have his priorities right. I'm glad his book signing appearance reinforced that. Kudos to you, Kenneth!
