Song of the Day: 'Self Control' by Computer Magic

First Marc Almond and now this? So nice to see the late-great Laura Branigan's music lives on!

UPDATE:

And now a friend just pointed me to this early '90s Spanish cover by Ricky Martin! Does this mean he technically came out in 1993?

Ricky Martin's Not-So-Risky Business

For a gay guy who thinks nothing of sporting a Speedo on hotel balconies and beaches, Ricky Martin sure let his limp-wristed fan-base down by wearing trunks during his "Old Time Rock 'n' Roll" performance on "Lip Sync Battle" instead of Tom Cruise-style tighty whities. (Yes, this beggar's a chooser!)

NKOTB’s Jonathan Knight and Longtime Boyfriend Get Engaged

It appears Harley Rodriguez has the right stuff for Jonathan Knight of New Kids on the Block -- the singer, 47, revealed he and his longtime partner are planning to tie the knot. “We were in Africa, our parents were there — our moms were there — and I just figured this was the time to pop the question and make it official,” Knight shared of the big moment, adding that they've “always considered [themselves] a married couple,” but that Rodriguez, 43, had “no clue” a proposal was coming. Congrats, guys! Here's hoping you'll be loving each other forever ...
