Soccer Stud Freddie Ljungberg Says Gay Rumors Are a 'Compliment'

In a new interview with The New York Times Magazine, soccer star and former Calvin Klein undies model Freddie Ljungberg says he is "proud" of the gay rumors about him and considers them to be a "compliment."

"There’s been a gay rumor for a long time. I don’t mind at all. I am proud of that. I love fashion, and I think so many gay people have amazing style. So that is a compliment to me. I really don’t know why people are so interested. I just made a decision that I won’t talk about it."

Ljungberg, who retired from international soccer in 2008 and now plays for the Seattle Sounders, also opens up about what he misses most about Sweden, his favorite tattoo, his guiltiest food pleasure and who his favorite jersey swap was with.

I always find it incomprehensible when there's a beautiful picture of Zac Efron and people write, "I don't find him hot at all", but I kind of feel that way about this guy. Maybe it's the male pattern baldness. I could imagine running into him in a bar in Munich wearing too tight clothes.
