It Takes a Village

While I wasn't able to attend the Valentine's Day fundraiser at G Lounge for bartender Marcello Diaz, who is battling Acute Lymphocytic Leukemia, my special correspondents -- aka Michael, Benny and Jay (along with our pal Robert, who couldn't make it to the photo booth for five seconds because he was too busy cruising "for a good cause") -- managed to stop by on Sunday evening. Michael says the kissing booth didn't seem to be going while they were there, but that everyone was having a good time helping out a great guy. (The staff uniform? Nasty Pig underwear!) If you'd like to make a donation to the Marcello Diaz Help Fund, please click HERE. And if you're reading, Marcello, please know the whole 'hood is pulling for ya and looking forward to seeing that great smile again soon.

Hey Kenneth...so I was there, too, with my friend Ariel for quite a bit. The place was packed. I didn't catch any action on the kissing booth at all. I really thought Marcello was going to be there, but you might already know that he wasn't. It was a great night in general. I don't know if people knew about the event or just plain hanging out since it was a no-work Monday the next day. Either way, they did help him out. Sorry this is late, btw.
