Titles for Fritz, Diallo, Mertens and Maria. Full report plus all the ATP beef that's fit to post BELOW.
After a disastrous clay-court season, Taylor Fritz found his form and captured his fourth ATP Tour title on grass and ninth overall on Sunday at the Boss Open in Stuttgart, where he defeated World No. 3 Alexander Zverev 6-3, 7-6(0).
23-year-old Montreal native Gabriel Diallo won his first ATP Tour title, defeating Belgium's Zizou Bergs 7-5, 7-6 (8) to win the Libema Open tennis tournament in ‘s-Hertogenbosch, Netherlands, on Sunday.
Santiago Gonzalez and Austin Krajicek tied the bow on a statement week Sunday at the Boss Open, where they lifted their first trophy as a team. The Mexican-American duo defeated Alex Michelsen and Rajeev Ram 6-4, 6-4 to clinch the ATP 250 title without dropping a set in Stuttgart.
Aussies Matt Ebden and Jordan Thompson took the men's doubles in ‘s-Hertogenbosch, Netherlands, winning the weekend’s final 6-4 3-6 [10-7] over Brits Julian Cash and Lloyd Glasspool

Elise Mertens achieved a career milestone on Sunday at the Libéma Open: By defeating Elena-Gabriela Ruse 6-3, 7-6(4) in the final, the 29-year-old Belgian captured her 10th career WTA Tour singles title and her first on grass.
The former World No. 12 -- whose box is always a winner -- now owns titles on all three of the major playing surfaces.
After saving 11 match points in her semifinal win over Ekaterina Alexandrova
-- the most match points saved by any player in a tour-level main-draw match this decade -- Mertens saved two set points in the second set in the final.
Tatjana Maria capped an improbable week at the HSBC Championships with a 6-3, 6-4 victory over Amanda Anisimova. The world No. 86 is poised to cut her ranking in half after following up upsets over Elena Rybakina and Madison Keys to win the biggest title of her career in 83 minutes on Sunday. The German first showed her prowess for grass-court excellence when she stormed into the semifinals of Wimbledon back in 2022, just over a year after giving birth to her second child. The touring mom earned a career-high ranking of No. 42 at the start of 2024 but ended the season ranked just outside the Top 100.
