I was at the Meet in the Middle for Equality in Fresno on Saturday which was an amazing day. Although it was great to see stars like T.R. Knight, Thea Gill and Eric McCormack there to support equality, I was most impressed by Lt. Daniel Choi. Not only did he give a moving speech, but he left the VIP area behind the stage to mingle with the crowd. When he saw this guy who was wearing a cap with a military insignia, he hopped the security rope to hug him and then took time to pose with people for photos.
