'New York, This Is Your Last Chance'

Well, having completely run out of storage space in my little Chelsea abode (we're well into the "if one thing comes in, one must go out" stage), it pains me not to run out and purchase this television gem, the first season of "Rhoda" on DVD. But then again, maybe it's just as well. I'd only get swept away in the romance of Rhoda and Joe's wedding again and then want to buy Seasons 2 and 3 when they came out, only to be crushed all over again when my favorite TV couple separated. Reading that hunky David Groh -- aka Joe Gerard who also played D.L. Brock on my fave soap, "General Hospital" -- died earlier this year was a big enough blow. I don't think I'd want to re-live the divorce (in Season 4) that was in many ways much harder on me than my own parents'.
