I've never been a fan of basketball (it makes my hands dry) or the players. Then last year I got a look at Beno Udrih of the San Antonio Spurs and I began to sing a different tune. Maybe it's because Beno's only 6-3, so it keeps him from looking like a gland-problem freak, or maybe it's the Eric Nies/Ethan Hawke puppy-dog eyes, but whatever it is, I'm smitten. Beno's playing a lot more this season -- and helped his team crush the Denver Nuggets last night.
