I was reading an article about the upcoming International Mr. Gay Competition (Oct. 26-28 in Palm Springs) and I couldn't resist sizing up the competition. Mr. Gay Germany is considered a front-runner (he's hot, but he kinda reminds me of Chris "Mango" Kattan in that middle picture).
I had my eyes more on Mr. Gay United Kingdom (Mark Carter), Mr. Gay Venezuela (Felipe Isidoro) and Mr. Gay Colombia (Jorge Armando Rueda Estupinan)

The North American finalists will be determined on 9/20 (which is today) and posted online. At least, that's what the website said.
How about Mr. Gay Vatican City?
You think Benedict XVI chose him personally?
I vote for Mr. Isreal - WOOF!
Kenneth...
You needed to look a little harder at this (pun intented). All 20 finalists from North America will compete in the finals in Palm Springs against the internation competitors. The N.A. finalists come from competitions held in various cities.
To set the record straight (maybe that's not the best word for this)there were around 20 US city and 20 international finalists. All took part in physical challenges, press interviews and judges interviews. They're every move being watched and scored. The US guys competed for the title of Mr. Gay USA the night before the Grand Finale. The winner of that contest moved on to compete against the international delegates for title of Mr. Gay International. As you probably know by now, Mr. Sacramento won the US title and Mr. Isreal won the International title. Audience attendance was a bit disapointing this year, but I see this event becoming something much bigger in the future.
By the way, I think you may have put a jinks on your favorites,
Mr. Gay UK, Venezuela and Colombia.
None made to the contest in Palm Springs. Sorry Kenneth
