Past, Present and Future

I wasn't too familiar with Ana Ivanovic until seeing her play Dinara Safina this weekend in Montreal, but I quickly figured out she's a force to be reckoned with. Sure enough she blew Martina Hingis off the court in today's (finally played) final, 6-2, 6-3, in under an hour. She sure is adorable, too.

Meanwhile in the doubles final Martina Navratilova, just shy of her 50th birthday, too home her 176th WTA doubles title when she and Nadia Petrova beat Cara Black and Anna-Lena Groenefeld 6-1, 6-2. Truly amazing stuff from a living legend. (BBC)
