Page 1 Consider (12/07)

  • Mad Max Bialystock: Passionate Mel Gibson Developing Holocaust Mini-Series / Why do the Christians get the big budget treatment and the Jews are teetering on ABC After-School Special status? (Variety)

  • Ford Focus: AMERICAblog is hot on the trail of Ford Motor Company's sudden decision to stop advertising in gay publications. Of course, it has Bush connections all over it. How soon before we find out that the American Family Association is yet another offshoot of NAMBLA? (AMERICAblog) (How to contact Ford directly.)
  • Rubbing Sticks Together: Ex-Boy Scouts executive sentenced in porn case / "Douglas S. Smith, Jr., 62, an executive in the Boy Scouts of America at the time he was charged, pleaded guilty in March to one count of possessing child porn. In March, Smith acknowledged receiving and sending over the Internet more than 500 images of boys, some younger than age 12, posing nude or engaging in sex acts." The good news is this pedophile was able to craft policies to keep those awful gay scout leaders out, though. As the Vatican will tell you, homosexual and pedophile are synonymous. (AP)

  • Friend With Visual Benefits: Jennifer Aniston sues over topless photos / I've got a great idea: stop walking around outside with your shirt off. "I wish she hadn't just walked out topless," said the photographer, Peter Brandt. "That's not what I was looking for." Brandt said Aniston was in her backyard, which had small bushes but no fence. No word if there are any pictures of her bush floating around. (AP)

  • Air Cycle Only: Mother accused of death of infant in dryer / I think a towel might have been the better way to go. (AP)

  • Memo to Marketing: NBC shows will be downloadable on iTunes / Nobody wants to watch them on television. No one wants to watch them on a one-inch iPod screen. (I'm sure those NBC suits are now busy planning the big release of the box set of season one of "Joey" ...) (Xinhua)

  • Not gay, still sucks: Robbie Williams wins 'gay' libel fight / Robbie is a lot like bad teeth and baked beans on toast: I don't get it. (Telegraph)

  • Oops, He Did It Again: Pop-tart Britney Spears' marriage in trouble / Who would have thought that a man who got engaged to you while his girlfriend was pregnant wouldn't be a good husband? (TheStar)

  • About Face: Woman Who Had Face Transplant Doing Well / Says she didn't care for the old one anyway. (AP)

  • Gays and Dolls: William Safire's Homolexicology column attempts to answer the age-old question: Is a lesbian a gay? "Apparently, in writing about people who are homosexual, the word gay no longer covers both men and women. (Contrariwise, the word guy, as I noted in a recent column, now does apply to both sexes when taken together, though seldom to women individually.) " (NYT)
