Spokane's self-hating, closet-case Republican mayor, Jim West, was recalled from office Tuesday in a special election over allegations he offered jobs and perks to young men he met in a gay Internet chat room. West, 54, must leave his position when the election results are certified Dec. 16.

In addition to spending two decades in powerful state Senate positions where he routinely voted against gay-friendly issues, West is yet another former Boy Scout executive whose work computer was found to have thousands of pornographic photos on its hard drive. West was also accused of molesting two underage boys but charges were never brought because the statute of limitations had run out. (see related item below).

As recently as yesterday West said that he no longer engages in gay sex and has stopped visiting Internet chat rooms. But I have a feeling that with all of this free time on his hands, MayorDreamsCumTru will be having a change of heart soon. But, boys, be careful the next time you visit SpokaneM4M. The kind of jobs he's offering these days will definitely not include a city pension.

I don't know about you, but I am so tired of these stories turning out this way. For once, I would like to find out that someone really is just a "pro-family," right-wing nutjob who isn't actually looking to sleep with a man. (And do they always have to look like this?)
