Weekend Tennis Roundup

Luciano Darderi defeated fellow sexpot Tallon Griekspoor 7-6(3), 7-6(4) to win his second career ATP title in Marrakech. After a very tough start of the year, the 23-year-old got his act together in the past two weeks. The win will land him back in the Top 50. 


Flavio Cobolli captured his first ATP title, defeating Sebastian Baez 6-4, 6-4 to triumph in Bucharest. The 22-year-old Italian arrived in Hungary with eight consecutive tour-level losses -- what a turn around. 


Victory, at last!


Jenson Brooksby claimed his first ATP Tour title in Houston at the U.S. Men's Clay Court Championship. Beginning as a qualifying wild card, the 24-year-old American completed his dramatic run Sunday with a 6-4, 6-2 final victory against second seed and 2023 Houston champ Frances Tiafoe.


Marcel Granollers and Horacio Zeballos downed Jakob Schnaitter and Mark Wallner 7-6(3), 6-4 on Sunday to claim the doubles crown in Bucharest. 


Czech duo Petr Nouza and Patrik Rikl won their first ATP Tour title ...


by defeating top seeds Hugo Nys and Edouard Roger-Vasselin 6-3, 6-4 in Marrakech.
