I'm not sure which year was the greatest in history, but this sure was a good one. I realize this is an ad for a British store. (The only ones I didn't own at the time were Dexy's, Madness or the Stranglers.) But just about all these acts were making the charts on this side of the pond, too. In fact, you could even listen to the radio back then -- where Moon Unit's "Valley Girl" might come on, causing your brother to nearly drive off the road!

Still some of the best albums ever!! Boots is the largest chain of chemists (drug stores) here is the UK. It used to have a great record department and homewares back then, but now is just medicines and toiletries.
