Hard to swallow that it's been 50 years since the World Trade Center opened -- I first visited in 1985 -- and almost 22 since it was destroyed by terrorists. If you had told me that life would eventually return to normal I wouldn’t have believed you, yet somehow it has. Resilience is a strange thing. On one hand I am disappointed in myself for being able to move past what happened, yet what other choice do reasonable people really have?
