I don't mean to be didactic or facetious in any way, but are we to take this to mean that Rafael Nadal -- who sent Nick Kyrgios to the Wimbledon final today by withdrawing from the tournament -- didn't consider himself "really injured" when he won the first two majors of the year? Just confused by what he meant when Djokovic kept playing with a similar injury at the 2021 Australian Open (FYI: For those who might be thinking I'm happy about the news you're way off base. I was REALLY looking forward to a Nadal-Djokovic final.)
On another note: Boy does this explain a lot.

I would say that if you have to get injections to numb your foot in order to play, then you're "really injured."
Djokovic is my 2nd favorite player on the tour, so hopefully he'll whip Kyrgios's butt on Sunday. (We don't really think that Norrie has a chance tomorrow, do we?)
I don't think Norrie will be much trouble. Obviously I am nervous about Nick being the extremely talented and volatile person that he is. Here's hoping Novak can shut him down.
Two majors so far this year and he put no one’s life at risk in doing so. I would admire the effort and class and avoid offensively referring to him as “Calamity Juanita”.
