Song of the Day: 'In the Flesh' by Voice of the Beehive

Over the weekend you may recall I included Voice of the Beehive's "Don't Call Me Baby" as one of picks for my list of 12 forgotten classics by women-led new wave bands. It actually got demoted to an honorable mention when two of my purist friends chastised me for including it, saying "anything after 1984 isn't new wave." (Excuse me!) Since then, my pal Brian Ferrari was kind enough to send me his collection of VOTB b-sides and rarities -- which, as a casual fan I had not collected. And what do you know? It turns out they covered Blondie's "In the Flesh." And people wonder why I suffer from Obsessive Completist Disorder -- to avoid missing stuff like this!
