I'm a fan of Keith Boykin's, but boy does this tweet rub me the wrong way. I'll tell you what's going on here: It's every queer child’s moment to see they’re not less than.
(I'm sick of LGBTQ kids killing themselves on a weekly basis because of bullying and rejection, and because they don't believe there's a future for them in this world.)
As for Beto O’Rourke: He ran a legendary campaign in deep red Texas nearly defeating a sitting GOP senator. He was hot-hot-hot when Vanity Fair put him on its cover. He’s not done a lot to receive press since and has received very little attention.
Hear! Hear!
Very disappointed to see a gay activist and commentator such as Keith try to undercut this historic and important moment. It's the last thing we need right now.

You are right and as gay man nothing has made me prouder than Mayor Pete.
What is he saying that only white males are getting the covers?
I don't get it. What's he trying to say?
The really don't care what anyone says about Mayor Pete at this point- he still getting my vote- and I will not vote for any progressive geezer- yes call me an ageist!
