Such a Tease!

Hey there! I know we're all at varying levels of tech-savviness, so just a little heads-up for people who didn't know this. As you may have noticed, most blogs have changed to the preview format -- where you just see a tiny teaser of a post, but then you have to click through to expand. I've never done well with change -- and find that format to be off-putting -- so I have stuck with the same traditional blog format I've used since 2005. (I of course have a jump page for posts that are particularly long or photo-based.) But if you prefer the newer "teaser" format, my blog does have a "mobile" feed that basically mimics the way most blogs operate now, which can access with this URL.

The only reason for the "teaser" followed by a "more" to get to the full post is to increase "click rates." Don't succumb. Your readers are busy and haven't time to wait for the full page to load before getting to read what they were interested in learning in the first place.

Please don't change to the Click-Bait format. It's awful. I've stopped reading blogs using it.

Thanks, guys! Planning to keep it this way unless I'm forced to do otherwise. :-)
