As I mentioned after Monday's Juliana Hatfield concert, my brother Bill was a huge Blake Babies fan, which led to Terence's being one, too. Although I eventually got into Hatfield's post-BB work a bit, for some reason I never circled back. (It all seemed so overwhelming!) But after getting this message from a friend with whom I talk music -- and seeing he was kind of lukewarm on JK too -- I'm diving in!
I loved Blake Babies in the '90s but Juliana's solo stuff was very hit & miss. I usually liked 2 or 3 tracks per album and about 8 of them were only OK.
