Summer Lovers

Armie Hammer may not be able to act his way out of a paper bag. But he might be able to redeem himself for that dreadful J. Edgar Hoover biopic with "Call Me by Your Name," an upcoming film (adaptation of the acclaimed book) in which he plays a 24-year-old academic who has a passionate affair with a 17-year-old boy living in Italy in the 1980s. Hey, if the age difference was OK for my parents -- they were 17 and 26 when they married with my mom already with child -- it's OK for these two!

Armie Hammer and Timothée Chalamet give off serious summer-romance-in-Italy heat in this poster for "Call Me by Your Name." Opens this fall.

when my dad and mom were married, he was 27 and in the military, she was 17 - my mom never forgot which family members she caught discussing this "scandal" behind her back (they were married over 45 years, until her death).

There's a Tumblr site for the film.
