Omar Mateen’s Wife Arrested by FBI for Obstruction of Justice

The horror never ends. The New York Times reports that the wife of Orlando mass shooter Omar Mateen has been arrested in connection with the attack on Pulse nightclub last year  FBI agents reportedly took Noor Salman into custody at her home near San Francisco, A source said Salman was charged with obstruction of justice. Mateen, her husband, killed 49 people at the LGBT club in Orlando in June, in the deadliest mass shooting in modern American history. He died after a gunbattle with police in the club. Salman was questioned by authorities after the shooting and there were reports that she might be charged for failing to report her husband’s murderous plans.

UPDATE: She will make a court appearance Tuesday after federal officials unsealed an indictment that charged her under the nation's antiterrorism laws. Read HERE.
