Damian and I found some fun presents and drank delicious mulled wine over the weekend at the Union Square Holiday Market.
The festive event sounds very similar to where 12 people were senselessly killed (and more than 50 injured) Monday in Berlin in what police are investigating as an act of terrorism. Condolences to all the victims' loved ones -- will this lunacy ever end?
And then there was the assassination of Russia's ambassador to Turkey. World War III is starting to seem more likely than ever.
