Carrie Fisher Is Dead at 60

"Shampoo' girl

I must be the most heartbroken person in the world who never saw "Star Wars." So grateful I saw her "Wishful Drinking" one-woman show in 2009. There will never be another woman like Carrie Fisher. Maybe we should think of ourselves as being lucky we had her as long as we did -- she nearly died in 1985 -- but that doesn't really help much right now. .

Her New York Times obituary is HERE.

"I hate April."

De-lovely duo ...

kenneth, episodes iv, v, & vi are must see, maybe the nytimes description of her role as princess leia today will motivate you:

"Ms. Fisher established Princess Leia as a damsel who could very much deal with her own distress, whether facing down the villainy of the dreaded Darth Vader or the romantic interests of the roguish smuggler Han Solo."
