Happy to hear that Sinead O'Connor is reportedly OK, after going missing in Chicago over the weekend. Although I'm only a casual fan of her music, she became my hero when she uttered the following words last week in response to Arsenio Hall suing her for calling him a drug dealer who supplied Prince and others:
"He can suck my dick -- that is, if he isn't too busy sucking someone else's ..."
And speaking of Prince. NYT reports:
Not long after “Nothing Compares” became a hit, Ms. O’Connor accused Prince of physically threatening her. She elaborated on the story in her memoir, saying that Prince, at his Hollywood mansion, chastised her for swearing in interviews and suggested a pillow fight, only to hit her with something hard that was in his pillowcase. She escaped on foot in the middle of the night, she said, but Prince chased her around the highway.
Yikes.
