In a splendid interview with The New York Times, actress Sarah Paulson finally confirmed her much-rumored relationship with Holland Taylor -- 31 years her senior -- saying she’s “absolutely” in love.
“If my life choices had to be predicated based on what was expected of me from a community on either side, that’s going to make me feel really straitjacketed, and I don’t want to feel that," she told the newspaper. “What I can say absolutely is that I am in love, and that person happens to be Holland Taylor.”
The Daily News says the two women first sparked relationship rumors in December and in rare-Hollywood form were praised by most fans for the unexpected romance. The ladies met at a dinner party over a decade ago but Paulson was dating actress Cherry Jones at the time. Still, she was smitten, recalling the "Two and Half Men" actress was “probably the most exquisitely beautiful woman I’d ever seen.” The story of the two finally dating is a tale of modern love, with the stars direct messaging each other on Twitter when they reconnected years later. Unbeknownst to fans, they have now been together for a little over a year. The 41-year-old ended her relationship of seven years with Jones—18 years her senior— in 2009.Congrats! Hard for me to say which one I adore more. I've loved Holland since "Bosom Buddies" and Sarah since "Jack & Jill."
