i Don't Get It

Like anyone could figure out that f**king iCloud -- or any Apple product, for that matter.

I don't understand the cloud either, but, thats not my job! It is, though, the job of the FBI to handle evidence appropriately. Apple has been selling their encryption features -- noting that even they did not have the means to unlock their phones -- for the last 2 years. So, yeah, I do fault them; and no, I don't believe the government has the right to compel Apple to assist them anymore than they already have (not reported much, but, Apple provide their engineers to assist the FBI to recover the data using means Apple already had; but, as advertised, it failed).

It was a county phone. The county knew the password. The FBI could have had all the information on the phone. The FBI told the county to change the password.

I think this is about the FBI getting into Apple's software. They created an excuse. If they get their backdoor no ones information is safe from any hacker anywhere.
