OK, so the changes on 8th Avenue continue -- only this one is particularly bizarre. What was once an Indian restaurant next door to 18th and 8th eventually became a gay sex shop of sorts, that kinda usurped the iconic bar Splash's name, although some say it's pronounced Splosh. Just noticed the store has moved upstairs, but its new (temporary?) sign is now (kinda) stealing the name from the now-closed Chelsea card and novelty store Rainbows & Triangles, only it's been bastardized as Rainbow & Triangle. Color me confused.
