Arby's to Return to Manhattan

It's been about a decade since the purple-roast-beef makers closed up shop near the West Fourth Street subway station. Bring on the potato cakes and Jamocha shakes! Read HERE.

The timing is perfect -- the Wendy's in my office building closed yesterday, a move that was greeted with a frosty reception by my colleagues.

The cushion on Jon Stewart's anchor chair at The Daily Show hadn't even grown cold yet before they weaseled their way back into his turf!

Not happy about Arby's trying to be a "sandwich"-sandwich place with disgusting-looking deli sandwiches on "bread'-bread. Do what you do best: That weird gyro-style slurry recooked into a simulacrum of roast beef. (And it really is better than the real roast beef I've had at Roy Rogers, when Roy Rogers was a thing.)
