Song of the Day: 'Hold On' by Rosanne Cash

To mark the 30th anniversary of Rosanne Cash's groundbreaking "Rhythm & Romance" album, Rolling Stone took a deeper look at the record that helped pave the way for country music's current crop of female pop-country stars. Rosanne has horrible memories of the album -- and I certainly would never challenge someone's feelings -- but I respectfully disagree with her view of the finished product, which earned Johnny's girl her first Grammy (for the sublime "I Don't Know Why You Don't Want Me") and still ranks as one of the era's finest moments.

(Rosanne is misspelled on this clip, but it's still a good one!)

I saw this article. I was amazed that RS did such an in depth piece. I'm glad they did though. I always thought "Halfway House" was an underrated gem.
