Because Monday's "The Death of Chelsea's 8th Avenue" has quickly become my most popular non-shirtless-guy blog post of all time -- people love decay! -- thought I'd share this video a commenter sent me, which shows that throughout Chelsea, no one can sustain a business with rents so high only Michael Bloomberg & Co. could afford them.

Your story on the death of chelsea deserved its popularity -- original and important reporting. Thanks for it, and the follow-up. Queens is full of storefronts vacated by thriving businesses as landlords wait for high-paying tenants. Long-time residents pray they'll lose their gambles.
