I thought maybe David Brenner had suffered the "Wasn't Tomorrow Wonderful?" curse: A few people mentioned in my book, including the Japanese guy Derek cheated on me with, died right as it came out and I also poked fun at David in another story. But now that I see he was actually 78 (wow!) I realize I had nothing to do with this. Thanks for the laughs, David. RIP.
