Jose Antonio Vargas was a Pulitzer Prize-winning Washington Post reporter before he came out in the New York Tiems as ... undocumented. Now his timely tale is becoming a documentary -- featuring his moving reunion with his mother -- written, produced and directed by Vargas himself.
THR reports that the film will be released in New York at the Village East Cinema on May 2 and in Los Angeles at the Landmark Regent on May 9 prior to an airing on CNN.
