Did they tell you that House Hunters is often faked? A friend of mine in Chicago is a realtor who was on the show 2 years ago and said the show picks people who have already bought a house, but who have not moved in yet. They look at that house on camera and two others and pretend to agonize over which one to pick.
Of course it makes economic sense for the show to do it this way. They can't follow around a couple as they look at 20 houses, and who may decide to pick none of them. So the rig it up front.
House Hunters is one of my favorite shows! I'll look forward to seeing your friends on there...
As for the House Hunters is fake issue, I don't really mind that. Now, if they came out and said no one ever actually bought the "winning house", and they just staged it to look lived in, I'd have to stop watching... Or I'd just avoid reading that news item. :-)
Not only is it faked in a way that the house is already picked, some of the houses they look at are not even for sale.
