Bill De Blasio Rises to the Top

Well, I was rooting for Christine Quinn when I thought she was the best candidate with an actual chance of winning. But now that the Democratic mayoral primary (aka the mayor's race) has morphed into the 2010 GOP presidential primary -- minus the homophobia, misogyny, anti-immigrant rhetoric and race-baiting -- I couldn't be happier that lefty favorite Bill de Blasio is suddenly out front.
