Michigan Republican Leader Has 'No Point of View at All' About Rep Calling Gays 'Filthy,' 'Murderers'

Michigan Republican Dave Agema is not only not apologizing for his atrocious spelling for his vile and patently false comments about "filthy" gay people, now he's spewing more hate on his Facebook page. The Republican Party keeps saying they "respect" LGBT people, they just don't want to change an institution that has been around forever. But if this is the case, why doesn't Michigan Republican Chairman Bobby Schostak demand Agema step down, instead of saying he has " no point of view at all" on Agema's resignation, claiming it's "between Dave and his family and himself." How respectful ... of Dave Agema.

Meanwhile on the other side of the aisle:

Senator Bob Casey, D-Pa., may have been slow to see the light. (Kudos to Rep. Brian Sims for riding his ass hard.) But he took his evolvement one step further than most with this eloquent statement:

If two people of the same sex fall in love and want to marry, why would our government stand in their way? At a time when many Americans lament a lack of commitment in our society between married men and women, why would we want less commitment and fewer strong marriages? If two people of the same sex want to raise children, why would our government prevent them from doing so, especially when so many children have only one parent, or none at all?
