'Believe the Magic' With Debbie Harry


  If Debbie Harry had a hard time defending her film "Videodrome," I don't even want to see her in the hot seat for "Believe the Magic," a bizarre-looking short film directed by Jimi Cauty, who cowrote it with Alannah Currie of the Thompson Twins. Debbie appears to play herself!


SYNOPSIS: A fast-paced road movie about a young man who believes he has won a part in a Hollywood film opposite the rock legend Debbie Harry. The film follows him for 24 hours from an inner city squat party through the streets and suburbs of south London as he tries to make it to the airport.  The film premiered at the Tate Modern in London -- and here is a first trailer:
