Page Six Gets a Litle 'Carrie-d' Away

'SATC' writer hits back
after Sarah Jessica Parker
slams ‘Carrie Diaries’

I think someone needs to explain to the New York Post what "slams" and "hits back" means:
In a March interview with Net-a-Porter’s The Edit, Sarah Jessica Parker admitted that she wasn’t exactly impressed with the CW’s “Sex and the City” prequel series set in the 1980s. “I’m not sure… You know, I think it’s one of those tests of your generosity,” Parker said. “She [AnnaSophia Robb, who plays Bradshaw] is a lovely girl and I want her to feel good about it, but it’s… odd.”
To which Bushnell responded:
“The reality is, that’s showbiz,” Bushnell told The Daily Beast. “Sarah Jessica’s first part was somebody else’s part. She played Annie on Broadway. She understands how these things work.”

SLAM!!!!!!!!!!!

I like the show. It's also sad that Carrie seemed to be a better person at this stage than she was circa SATC.
